Lumière Studios has spent 7 years photographing celebrations across Dakar and the wider region — from intimate ceremonies of thirty guests to four-hundred-guest receptions. Coverage is documentary first — the room as it happens, not a queue of posed set-ups, and the result is a record of the day as it actually ran rather than a version assembled to a formula.
A pre-shoot call covers the timeline, the family groups that matter and the light at your venue, so nothing important is decided on the day itself. Every booking includes a private online gallery of fully edited images, usually within three weeks. Questions are answered in writing, changes to the plan are normal and cost nothing before the event, and you always know who will actually be there on the day.
Based in Dakar, Lumière Studios works in fr / en, with bookings from 350 000 XOF. Send the date and a rough outline and a written, itemised quote comes back within 24h. Peak-season Saturdays are usually taken six to nine months in advance, so it is worth asking early — and there is no charge until you accept.
