For 9 years Mémoire Dorée has been photographing celebrations in and around Douala, working at every scale from a family gathering in a courtyard to four-hundred-guest receptions. Coverage is documentary first — the room as it happens, not a queue of posed set-ups. Nothing is templated, because no two celebrations want the same thing.
A pre-shoot call covers the timeline, the family groups that matter and the light at your venue, and you leave that conversation knowing exactly what happens, in what order, and what you receive afterwards. Every booking includes a private online gallery of fully edited images, usually within three weeks. Adjusting the plan as things firm up is expected rather than penalised.
