Every cake is made to order in small batches — no freezer stock, and the flavours are chosen at the tasting rather than off a card, and the result is a record of the day as it actually ran rather than a version assembled to a formula.
A tasting covers flavours, tiers, dietary needs and how the cake is displayed. What you book includes a tasting box, a sketch of the finished cake and delivery set up on site. The plan is written down and shared, so you, your other suppliers and the venue are working from the same document — which is what stops the small things going wrong when the day gets busy.
