Rhythm of Africa has spent 7 years reading rooms from behind the decks across Lagos and the wider region — from intimate ceremonies of thirty guests to four-hundred-person product launches. The style is open-format: beatmatching live, taking requests on the fly and moving between genres so the energy never dips, and the result is a record of the day as it actually ran rather than a version assembled to a formula.
A planning call covers must-plays, do-not-plays and how the evening should build, so nothing important is decided on the day itself. Every booking includes a planning portal for your timeline and song lists, plus custom intros and announcements. Questions are answered in writing, changes to the plan are normal and cost nothing before the event, and you always know who will actually be there on the day.
Based in Lagos and travels nationwide, Rhythm of Africa works in fr / en, with bookings from 500 000 NGN. Send the date and a rough outline and a written, itemised quote comes back within 12h. Peak-season Saturdays are usually taken six to nine months in advance, so it is worth asking early — and there is no charge until you accept.
