Villa Baobab has spent 5 years hosting celebrations across Dakar and the wider region — from intimate ceremonies of thirty guests to six-hundred-guest receptions. The space works as one room or three, and the layout is set around your guest count rather than a fixed plan, and the result is a record of the day as it actually ran rather than a version assembled to a formula.
A site visit covers capacity, catering access, parking and the noise curfew. What you book includes a walkthrough, a floor plan and a run sheet agreed before the day. The plan is written down and shared, so you, your other suppliers and the venue are working from the same document — which is what stops the small things going wrong when the day gets busy.
Villa Baobab operates from Dakar and travels nationwide, works in fr / en and takes bookings from 3 500 000 XOF. Enquiries are answered within 4h with an itemised written quote rather than a range. Popular dates — spring and end-of-year Saturdays especially — are typically gone six to nine months out. You are not charged for asking.

What is the maximum guest capacity?＋
Our main hall accommodates up to 500 seated guests. For cocktail events, we can host up to 800 guests across all our spaces.
Is catering included in the venue hire?＋
We offer both in-house catering packages and the flexibility to bring your preferred caterer. Our team specializes in African and international cuisine.
How far in advance should we book?＋
We recommend booking 9–18 months in advance for weekend dates, especially during peak season (November–April).
